Finale - Resources
Whatever definition may be given to the term ‘globalization,’ it is clear that a series of borders-crossing processes (economic, political and social) are identified with it. Migration (voluntary and involuntary) and drugs trafficking are two such examples.
For the class finale, I will provide role playing exercises during the finale and students will have to act according to the discrete histories and particular interests (national, regional or global) of your nation-state.
To prepare for the exercise, you will need to do some research. Begin by reading the articles listed below under 'Prep Materials.' Also, I am populating the dedicated pages 'Drugs trafficking resources' and 'Migration resources' (see links just below) with materials that may be helpful in preparing for the exercise.
